New artwork, 'In the Absence of Light' is a series of paintngs and drawings with inspiration from the night realm of sea. New work is predominantly bitumen painting on canvas, pen and ink drawings that vary from large to small scale work on papyrus.

Predominantly large paintings up to four metres in length dealing with linear perspective and man-made structures based around the theme of bridges, includes works on paper, board and steel panels

Span Gallery, Melbourne, January 2003
All works are text based from a range of sources including quotes, junk mail, street art, and dictionary definitions. Each works consists of 300mm x 300mm steel panels involving plasma cutting and multiple textures and paints.

Charles Smith Gallery, Fitzroy, September, 2000
The work consists of a single strip wrapped around the gallery wall. All works are of equal height of varying lengths - a slice of Melbourne’s street scene, from alleyways to suburban fences; employs metal timber ash, oil paint and enamel.
